It's been a long time since the last update, but we've been busy brewing the next generation of Riches'. Thanks to morning sickness and now SPD updating this page has not been high on the agenda! Sproglet is due 19th June 2005, but watch this space...

We've moved! We moved to Wales last week, and are now settling in to our new house. The carpet in the hall is a bit dated and swirly, but otherwise everything is ok.

Our beloved cat, Jake, died on Sunday 25th at approximatley 21:45, of conjestive heart failure. He has left a huge hole in our lives, as big orange pussy-cats are wont to do when they go.
We have buried him in the garden, with a catmint (nepeta 'six hills giant') on top, to waft the scent he loved most his way.
We both struck lucky that day at the Cats' Proctection League, 19th July 1996.

Happy New Year!
We are looking forward to Sarah's show in April; when she plays Eurydice. If you are anywhere near Birmingham at the time, the show will be well worth a visit.

Christmas is nearly upon us; at least the christmas cake (above) is finished! The decorations are a little unusual for a yuletide cake, but I finally used the reject flowers from our wedding cake.
We hope that all who wander by our bit of cyberspace have a great Christmas and a peaceful New Year.

Last week we went strawbale building in the heart of Shropshire. We were left sore and tired, but it was worth it! If any of you have UKStyle, the build was filmed for tv and will be shown 30th or 31st of October 2003; or you can click on the link on the left to see some of the photos.
